“Being good is easy, what is difficult is being just.”

Victor Hugo

“In the end we are always rewarded for our good will, our patience, fair-mindedness, and gentleness with what is strange.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

The Justice Card

The Justice card is the 11th card in the Major Arcana. It comes directly after the card of fate - The Wheel of Fortune and before the card of inertia - The Hanged Man. The path therefore is from a place of expansion (Wheel of Fortune) we must deal with our concept of justice and fairness. With the Hanged Man coming next through it indicates that justice is never an easy path and you must spent time going inward looking at every position from different Agnels (Hanged Man).

The Justice is a air card. It represents our connection to law and karma.

Fairness, Equality, Law and Order, Justice, Partnership, Marriage, Balance, Karma, Clear communication

This card is associated with Libra energy. As Libra is ruled by Venus you can also look to upcoming Venus transits for help with timing. This card reversed can also point to Venus Retrograde cycle.

Saturn is also exalted in Libra and this card does have a strong saturnalia feel to it. How do we express law(Saturn) in a fair and just way (Libra)

As Advice

Seek counsel (especially if involved in legal matters). If you are about to appear in court it usually means things will be ruled fairly (you may not win but it will be a just result). It encourages us to be fair in our dealings. Approach things with a Libra/Saturn energy (Fairness and Order).

Justice Reversed

Unfair times, a ruling made in error, unbalanced energy, dishonesty.
